Matthew Freiheit is Bay Area raised independent filmmaker.

He has owned a camera ever since he could remember, making home movies and stop motion films as a child. His filmmaking career began in high school, filming his friends riding bikes at the skatepark and capturing the Northern California BMX scene. Since then, he has progressed to creating, designing, shooting and editing music videos, short films, and commercials across the country.

Matthew decided to further his knowledge of filmmaking, earning a Bachelors of Arts in Cinema at San Francisco State in 2018. His work focuses on cinematic, stylized imagery that is visually intriguing, ranging from the beautiful to the bizarre.
